Come to know the Easy Stocktaking Inventory App
To scan articles/items, or storage bin labels you need either a scanner device, or a smartphone with camera (are there any without, really?). Our opinion: A dedicated scanner device tends to work better especially in low-light situations, but some smartphones deliver really impressive scan performance.

Use unique identifiers for your storage locations / bins. Printing them on labels as barcodes or QR codes which are attached to your shelves, boxes etc. speeds up taking stock: Simply “shoot” the storage bin’s label, then the item’s label, enter the quantity found. Now you not only know how much stock you have at hand, but also where you can find it…
Taking stock in teams of two can help avoiding errors. Enter counter’s names to be able to look into differences.
Import your items/articles from a comma delimited file (.CSV format), or simply enter them as you go.
Name your inventory, like 2020-06-Branch-5 (any string can be used).
Item by item you count, weigh or measure your stock and enter the quantities found.
Validate your takings by looking into lists of single countings, or sums by item. If necessary, do extra control countings.
You can export results counting by counting, or summed up by item, and share them by mail, messenger, file, etc… If you like, feed them into your accounting or ERP solution.
If you mark an inventory as closed, it cannot be changed by accident.
